Spiral Antennas
Our range of Spiral Antennas provide low cost, excellent wideband performance in a compact package, with either left or right hand Circular Polarisation. Spiral antennas are used in many applications because of their cost and size. They are used in EW applications such as Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) systems and as Threat Warning Antennas in threat warning receivers.
The QSPCP0.5-22S is a compact 152mm diameter, ultra-wide band circularly polarised antenna spiral suitable for UWB communications and Direction Finding, (DF) applications. This is designed to allow for specific performance modifications to meet customer requests. LHCP and RHCP versions are available.
The QSPCP2-18S wide band circularly polarised cavity-backed spiral antenna is manufactured from aluminium and engineering composites. Its compact size, smooth radiation patterns and purity of circular polarisation make it an attractive candidate for many air-borne and precision ground-based applications. LHCP and RHCP versions available.
The QSPCP18-42K ultra wide-band 18 - 42 GHz circular polarised spiral antenna is ideal for EW radar detection and direction finding due to its broad beamwidth and low squint and axial ratio. Its compact size combined with its wideband performance and either left or right hand circular polarisation capability makes this antenna extremely versatile.
