Patch Antennas, Printed Antennas and Arrays
One lesser-known product of Q-par Angus is its Patch Antennas, Printed Antennas and Patch Antenna Arrays, often produced to specific and demanding customer requirements.
The 0.2 - 2 GHz Wideband Printed Vivaldi Antenna offers an extremely wide bandwidth in a package many times smaller and lighter than its Horn Antenna counterpart. With a good VSWR across the band and a robust design, this antenna will be useful for a wide range of applications. This design is easily scaled for other frequency bands, contact us for information.

Q-par Angus has achieved a number of projects involving antenna patches and arrays, two such examples can be seen in the photographs. One was a switchable array providing high gain or low gain antenna options in one lightweight package. Another was a Dual GPS band (GALILEO and US networks) Multi-beam Array antenna, used for oceanographic applications, designed to fit on the underside of a light aircraft.

Q-par Angus Ltd has been working with EADS Astrium to produce an Airborne Demonstrator, L-band dual-band steerable phased array, for the PARIS concept which will de-risk the development for a potential space borne instrument.
